Change Your Cell Phone
Logos and Wallpapers
| Are
you tired of how your cell phone screen looks every time you
open it up? It is easy and many times free to change its image
just by changing the wallpaper and logos. There seems to be a
million different themes and looks you can get just by searching
for them on the web. |

What is a Cell
Phone operator logo?
When your phone ships from the factory, it is always set up to
display the logo of the cell phone company (the network
operator) to advertise their brand. They want you to see them
and be reminded of them every time you use your phone. This log
is called "operator logo" and appears whenever it detects
coverage. On some Nokia phones, operator logos measure 72 pixels
by 14.
|
On some Nokia
phones, you can change that logo to whatever you like: a picture
of your friend, your dog, your neighbors dog, or just about
anything you want.
Operator logos have the same appearance as group graphics except
that they include a special code associated with your network
operator so that it is displayed only when that network is
available. When being out of coverage or when roaming on another
network (international for example) the operator logo will not
appear.
So, if you are tired of how
your phone looks when you see the screen, change it to something
you can stand :-)
